Glock pistols are renowned for their reliability and durability.
The sixth generation enhances weapon controllability and user comfort by incorporating many improvements desired by end users.
Several modification parts previously added to earlier Glock generations are now included as standard, making them obsolete.
This firearm is ideal for the sport shooter seeking a service model pistol or for anyone who appreciates a reliable and high-quality pistol.
Glock pistols offer a variety of holster options, and spare parts and tuning accessories are readily available off the shelf.
New features:
1. Enhanced ergonomics and controllability.
2. Updated optic mounting system. Optics readiness now standard on every gun.
3. Improved reliability while maintaining accessory compatibility.
Enhanced ergonomics and controllability
The new RTF6 surface texture combines RTF2 and RTF4, providing better grip while ensuring a more comfortable surface for the hand.
The texturing area has significantly increased compared to previous versions. The grip has been better shaped to fit a variety of hand sizes, ensuring the shooter has a better hold on the weapon.
The trigger mechanism has been modified for easier control and a straighter engagement point at the trigger finger.
The trigger has also been slightly moved back, making it more suitable for smaller-handed or shorter-fingered shooters.
The firearm comes with two interchangeable backstraps (2mm and 4mm) to ensure it fits larger hands.
The grip is equipped with a high beavertail, which allows a crucial high grip for recoil control, protecting the shooter's hand from slide movement.
The shape of the weapon's frame has been improved by raising the Undercut of the trigger guard to allow an even higher grip while enhancing recoil control.
Thumb rests have been molded onto both sides of the trigger guard integrated directly into the frame to facilitate a consistent grip and assist with recoil management.
The size of the Magwell has been increased, meaning the magazine well has been widened and beveled to expedite and ensure successful magazine changes.
The slide stop lever has been raised and widened on both sides to minimize the risk of accidental engagement.
Slide serrations have been deepened and shaped differently to enhance handling.
Updated optic mounting system.
Every Gen6 firearm will now feature optics readiness. Instead of separate mounting plates, sights now attach directly to the slide using a plastic adapter plate.
The plastic adapter plate reduces impact on the sight from recoil. Attaching the sight directly to the slide without a mounting plate lowers the red dot sight for easier acquisition.
Improved reliability while maintaining accessory compatibility.
The reliability of the firearm has further been enhanced with small changes to the recoil spring, extractor, and barrel.
The gun maintains compatibility with Gen5-rated magazines and holsters, ensuring previous generation owners do not need to change or swap other gear, and new owners have a wealth of options available.
The package includes:
