Safety Notice: Magload Dummy Rounds (DSLODC1225)

Check your product immediately: a dummy round has been found in the batch with a live primer installed in the primer pocket.
The product is intended to be fully inert and should not contain a primer. The primer may ignite during dry-fire practice: if the round is in the firearm's chamber when the primer ignites, the slug weight may be propelled into the barrel and fall to the floor. The hazard cannot be identified by the weight of the round – the only way to confirm safety is to visually inspect the primer pocket of the case, which should be empty.
The product was sold in Aawee's stores and online shop between 15 May and 11 September 2026. If you purchased this batch during that period, please check any rounds you have as soon as possible.
What you need to do
- Check all cases immediately – visually inspect the primer pocket of each round.
- Do not disassemble the product or attempt to remove the primer yourself.
- If you find a defective round with a primer installed, treat it as live ammunition and contact Aawee customer service.

Aawee Oy acquires Jahtiaitta's entire business and expands to Kajaani | 23 Oct 2025
Aawee Oy and Ase- ja Optiikkahuolto H. Korhonen Oy agreed on a business transaction in which Aawee Oy expanded to Kajaani by acquiring Jahtiaitta's entire business operations.
Operations at the Kajaani store under Aawee Oy began on 1 January 2026. In Kajaani, the inventory was streamlined and certain brands were discontinued by the end of the year.
Jahtiaitta and its skilled staff were fully integrated into Aawee's operations. Jahtiaitta's owner Hannu continued to support Aawee throughout 2026.
With the Kajaani staff on board, Aawee gained access to highly skilled in-house gunsmith services. The Jahtiaitta acquisition significantly strengthened Aawee's hunting business, while Aawee's practical and competitive shooting offering was in turn brought strongly to the Kajaani and Kainuu markets.
Product availability improved at all locations. Although the selection varies by store, the full product range can be ordered. Orders can be picked up from any Aawee store or delivered via various logistics providers.

Online shop renewal | 9 Jan 2024
Our online shop has been renewed. The product tree received significant improvements, making product navigation clearer and faster.
Online ordering was also updated: shipments are dispatched mainly from Jämsä, and when needed, also from several warehouses for a small extra fee. This significantly sped up order deliveries and streamlined logistics.
Stock availability at all stores is visible online, and store stock levels are now more accurate and up to date. Individual products available at a specific store can be ordered for pickup from that location, or delivered directly using various shipping methods.
Strengthening hunting and shooting sports – clearance sale of our fishing range | 24 Aug 2023
As the company grew and developed, and due to limited space, Aawee discontinued sales of fishing products in order to focus more fully on hunting and shooting sports. Fishing products were sold off at a discount and were only available in Jämsä.
The change covered all fishing products (summer and winter), boating, and fishing electronics.
Aawee Oy acquires the entire share capital of ARMORIA Oy | 30 Sep 2021
Aawee Oy acquired the entire share capital of ARMORIA Oy. ARMORIA Oy's operations in Jyväskylä and Tampere continued, and Aawee Oy's operations in Jämsä also continued unchanged.
From then on, customers could find Aawee's and ARMORIA's staff, along with a wide selection of shooting and outdoor products and services, in Jämsä, Jyväskylä and Tampere. In Jyväskylä, this also included the ATC / ARMORIA Training Centre shooting range with a variety of courses, and Jämsä still offered a comprehensive fishing section at the time.
ARMORIA Kuopio was an independent company of its own and was not part of the deal; it continued to operate independently under its own name.
