Delivery and payment terms
The webshop is the easiest way to order: you see real-time stock availability, and the products you order are reserved for you immediately.
Current delivery methods and shipping costs are shown in step 3 of the checkout, "Choose delivery method". The checkout also shows any free or discounted shipping thresholds.
Delivery methods
Store pickup
- Free pickup from any Aawee store: Jämsä, Tampere, Jyväskylä or Kajaani.
- If the product is in stock at your chosen store, the order is usually ready for pickup the same day.
- Available for all products, including permit-required items and gunpowder.
Matkahuolto pickup point (Lähellä-paketti)
- Delivery to the Matkahuolto pickup point or parcel locker of your choice.
- You will receive a message when the parcel is ready for pickup. The parcel is held for 7 days.
- Maximum parcel weight 30 kg.
- Not available for permit-required items.
Matkahuolto home delivery (Kotijakelu)
- Delivery to your door on weekdays 8:00–18:00.
- You choose the delivery day via the link in Matkahuolto's message or in the Matkahuolto Paketit app.
- The parcel is left at your door, so you do not need to be at home.
- Not available for permit-required items.
Matkahuolto business delivery (Jakopaketti)
- Delivery to the address on weekdays 8:00–16:00 without advance notice.
- Best suited for companies and workplace deliveries.
- If delivery fails, the parcel is taken to the nearest pickup point.
- Not available for permit-required items.
Matkahuolto, personal handover
- The only shipping method for firearms, permit-required firearm parts, suppressors and ammunition.
- Delivery to your door on weekdays 8:00–18:00. You choose the delivery day via the link in Matkahuolto's message or in the Paketit app.
- The parcel is handed over only to you in person after an identity check.

Posti
- Pickup from a Posti outlet or parcel locker, or home delivery.
- Permit-required items cannot be shipped with Posti.
You can track Matkahuolto shipments in Matkahuolto tracking or in the Matkahuolto Paketit app.
How Matkahuolto home delivery works
Matkahuolto renewed its home delivery service on 1 September 2026. A specific delivery time window is no longer agreed. Instead, the parcel is delivered on the day you choose and left at your door.
- You receive a message from Matkahuolto by email, text message or in the app when the shipment is on its way.
- Choose the delivery day, usually from the next five weekdays. If you do not choose, the parcel is delivered on the next possible weekday.
- Add details: door code, instructions for the driver and how you want to be notified (doorbell, knock or silent delivery).
- On the delivery day you receive a more precise delivery time. When the parcel has been left, you receive a confirmation and, in the app, a photo of where it was left.
Want the parcel handed to you? You can purchase Contact delivery (Kontaktitoimitus) from Matkahuolto, in which case the parcel is handed to you or another person at the address. You can also redirect the shipment to a pickup point.
Responsibility for the parcel transfers to you once it has been left at the agreed place.
If you cancel the delivery in Matkahuolto's service, the shipment is returned to us and handled as a cancellation. The same return cost terms apply as when using the right of withdrawal.
Large, long and heavy items
Long items such as rifles and gun cases can be shipped with all Matkahuolto delivery methods as long as the longest side is no more than 200 cm (79 in). Additional handling is included in the shipping cost.

If your order exceeds the weight limit of the chosen delivery method, we will contact you before shipping to agree on the best option. For very heavy or large items, please ask our customer service for a delivery quote. Store pickup is always available.
Delivery time and stock
Store-specific stock levels are shown on each product page under "Store availability".
- Products in one warehouse: we aim to ship the order within 24 hours.
- Products in several warehouses: the estimated delivery time is 3–7 working days.
- Pickup point parcels are usually ready for pickup within 1–3 working days of shipping.
- With home delivery the delivery time depends on the delivery day you choose.
Delivery terms for permit-required items
Important information for the buyer
Ordering firearms, ammunition and permit-required parts always requires an official permit issued by the Finnish authorities. We do not accept permit information by email.
All buyers of permit-required items must verify their identity through electronic identification.
1. Firearms (acquisition permit required)
Before delivery, send the original acquisition permit issued by the police (4 copies, signed) to Aawee Oy's Jämsä store. Include your order number.
2. Ammunition, ERVA magazines and firearm parts
Provide a copy of both sides of your possession permit in connection with electronic identification.
ERVA definition: certain magazines (pistol over 20 rounds, rifle over 10 rounds) require an ERVA entry in the permit if the permit was issued after 15 July 2017.
3. Air guns
The buyer must be at least 18 years old. Identity is verified electronically or with a copy of an identity document.
4. Delivery and receipt
- Firearms, permit-required parts, suppressors and ammunition: only as Matkahuolto home delivery with personal handover, or store pickup.
- You must receive the parcel in person. The driver or service point checks your identity and age from an official photo ID.
- The parcel is not left at the door, and it is not handed over to another person with a power of attorney or to an intoxicated person.
- If delivery fails, the parcel is taken to a pickup point, where you collect it yourself with your photo ID. Permit-required shipments are not delivered to parcel lockers.
- You do not need to purchase Matkahuolto's Contact delivery, as personal handover is included.
- Gunpowder: store pickup or delivery as a Kaukokiito dangerous goods (VAK) shipment.

Online banking and cards
Paytrail Oyj: all Finnish online banks as well as Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
Mobile payments
MobilePay, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Invoice and instalments
Klarna, OP Lasku and OP Tililuotto. We do not sell to consumers on direct invoice.
Employee benefits
ePassi, Smartum, Edenred: only for ATC / Aawee Training Centre shooting range services and courses.
Returns and return costs
Products purchased from the webshop have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, unless an exception applies to the product group.
If the delivered product is free of defects and as ordered, and you use your right of withdrawal, you are responsible for the direct shipping and logistics costs of the return.
In case of an error, such as a defective, incorrect or transport-damaged product, a return or exchange causes you no shipping costs.
