The COMPS telescopic magazine spring family is specifically engineered for competitive shotguns.
This spring is designed to fit most telescopic tubes available on the market. Its unique geometry minimizes tube sticking and maximizes telescopic capacity.
With the optimal combination of COMPS springs, a total capacity increase of up to 5% can be achieved, depending on the original setup.
This means you can fit an additional shell without compromising reliability. Alternatively, longer springs can be utilized to enhance the reliability of your magazine system.
This spring allows you to fine-tune your telescopic system for both function and capacity, serving as a high-quality general spare spring for various systems.
It is recommended to use a spring setup that initiates telescopic expansion when the inner tube reaches 100% capacity (typically 10 shells).
Following this guideline will prevent unnecessary expansion of the telescopic system, keeping it compact and clean as much as possible.
The minimum recommended configuration starts telescopic expansion at 90% full (approximately 9 shells).
Note: The spring may fit tighter during assembly compared to the original spring. This is normal and by design.
The diameter and clearance of the spring will increase when compressed.
