The 5.56mm suppressors have been updated to GEN3 version. The 7.62 GEN3 will be available starting March 12, 2025 (GEN2 still available and performs better with 300BLK caliber). 9mm suppressors are not updated for the time being. The new GEN3 version from 2025 onward features improved flash suppression and noise dampening. Previous GEN2 Micro and Compact sized suppressors had excessive flash, especially with shorter barrels and specific ammunition. The new GEN3 series suppressors have exceptional flash suppression, with even the Micro effectively eliminating flash from a 10" barrel. Noise dampening has also reached a new level. The Compact and Streamer sized suppressors in 5.56 caliber keep noise below 137dB measured next to the shooter's ear, thus maintaining a safe level for hearing. The internal structure of the new series suppressor has been modified, identifiable by the visible cone in the bullet hole and the GEN3 marking on the end cap.

The Compact Streamer is Silent Steel's medium-sized suppressor. Noise reduction 15-32dB. The suppressor can be disassembled for maintenance. The Compact Streamer series suppressors effectively eliminate all visible flash from the barrel exit and significantly reduce noise.

The direct-thread construction does not significantly increase the amount of back gas entering the firearm.
