Holosun HE509-RD ACSS-Vulcan reticle and RMR mount adapter
The patented H509-RD ACSS Vulcan red dot sight features a large 250MOA outer circle. The outer circle becomes visible when the aiming point is off-center or out of view. This helps shooters quickly find the correct sighting line. When the aiming point is perfectly centered, the circle is not visible. This feature is particularly beneficial in situations where shooting is done from awkward positions, such as through openings or under obstacles. This often results in an unusual grip and the dot not being directly in line with the lens. Instead of just a dot, a Chevron arrow is found in the center, which allows for precise aiming as well as crown assessment for longer distances. Unlike the basic 509 model, it has a unique footprint, meaning it does not fit the same bases. The included steel plate allows the sight to attach to RMR footprint. It retains the same familiar features such as Solar Failsafe, which keeps the reticle visible without a battery in sunlight, and Shake Awake, which detects motion and turns the dot on or off accordingly.
