Holosun HE509-RD ACSS-Vulcan reticle and MOS mount adapter
The patented H509-RD ACSS Vulcan red dot sight features a large 250MOA outer circle.
The outer circle becomes visible when the aiming point is off-screen/centerline. This assists the shooter in quickly locating the correct sighting line.
When the aiming point is perfectly centered, the circle is not visible.
This property is particularly beneficial in situations where shots are taken from difficult positions, such as from gaps or under obstacles. In these instances, the point is rarely directly centered in the lens.
Instead of just a point, the center features a Chevron arrow, offering precise aim and range estimation for longer distances.
Unlike the basic 509 model, this has a unique footprint, meaning it isn't compatible with standard mounts. It attaches to the provided steel plate, fitting the Glock MOS footprint.
Other familiar features include Solar Failsafe, which allows visibility without batteries in sunlight, and Shake Awake, which detects motion and turns the dot on/off accordingly.
