Glock pistols are renowned for their reliability and durability.
The sixth generation further enhances firearm control and user comfort by incorporating significant improvements requested by end-users.
Many of the modified components from previous Glock generations are now unnecessary as they are included as standard features.
This firearm is perfect for the sport shooter seeking a service model pistol or simply for anyone who appreciates a reliable and high-quality handgun.
Glock pistols come with a wide variety of holster options and spare parts are easily found on the shelves.
New Features:
1. Enhanced ergonomics and handling.
2. Redesigned optics mounting system. Optics-ready on every firearm.
3. Improved reliability while maintaining compatibility with additional accessories.
Enhanced Ergonomics and Handling
The new RTF6 texture combines RTF2 and RTF4 textures, providing better grip while remaining comfortable in hand.
The surface area of the texturing has significantly increased from previous versions. The grip has been better shaped to fit various hand sizes, ensuring a superior hold for the shooter.
The trigger mechanism has been modified for easier control and features a straight trigger finger position.
The trigger has also been moved slightly back, making it more suitable for shooters with smaller hands or shorter fingers.
The firearm comes with two interchangeable back panels (2mm and 4mm) to ensure a proper fit for larger hands.
The grip includes a high Beavertail, which allows for a crucial high hold for recoil control, protecting the shooter's hand from the slide's movement.
The design of the firearm's frame has been improved by raising the trigger guard's Undercut, facilitating an even higher grip while enhancing recoil management.
Thumb rests have been sculpted on both sides above the trigger guard to aid in achieving a consistent grip and assist with recoil management.
The firearm's Magwell has been enlarged, with the magazine well widened and beveled to expedite and ensure successful magazine changes.
The slide stop's protection has been raised and widened on both sides of the frame to minimize the chance of accidental engagement.
The slide's cuts have been deepened and reshaped to ensure better handling.
Redesigned Optics Mounting System.
Optics-ready on every Gen6 firearm. Instead of separate mounting plates, sights are now directly attached to the slide using a plastic adapter plate.
The plastic adapter plate reduces the impact directed at the sight from recoil. Attaching the sight directly to the slide without a mounting plate lowers the red dot sight closer, facilitating easier acquisition of the sight picture.
Improved Reliability While Maintaining Accessory Compatibility.
The reliability of the firearm has been enhanced through minor modifications to the recoil spring, extractor, and barrel.
The firearm maintains compatibility with Gen5 compliant magazines and holsters, allowing previous generations' owners to avoid the need for changing out their equipment while offering new owners plenty of different options.
The package includes:
- 1 additional magazine and magazine loader
- 3 adaptor plates for attaching red dot sights. 02 plate for RMR mounting (e.g., Holosun 507 Comp), 03 plate for C-more mounting (e.g., Primary Arms GLx RS-15), and 04 plate for Deltapoint mounting (e.g., Leupold DeltaPoint Pro).
- 2 interchangeable back panels for the grip
- Cleaning rod with an integrated patch holder and a cleaning brush
