Optical Performance and Construction
The heart of the scope is its premium Japanese ED glass (Extra-Low Dispersion) optics. It produces a razor-sharp and bright image across the entire field of view, effectively eliminating color distortion and image aberrations at the edges. ACSS Griffin MIL G2 Reticle Features
The ACSS Griffin MIL G2 is an ingenious hybrid reticle designed specifically for 1-8x magnification scopes. It seamlessly combines the speed of a red dot sight with the accuracy of a rifle scope.

At 1x magnification: The reticle functions like a red dot sight. The brightly illuminated center and thick reticle posts immediately guide the eye to the target, making aiming extremely fast at short distances (CQB).

At 8x magnification: As magnification increases, the reticle’s sophisticated details become visible. The centrally located chevron tip provides an extremely precise aiming point that covers the target. The reticle includes an accurate MIL-based grid that enables bullet drop compensation, wind holds, and distance measurement.

Automatic Distance Measurement: The reticle has integrated easy-to-use distance measurement tools. The vertical lines on the sides of the reticle are calibrated to correspond to a target approximately 178 cm (5'10") tall at various distances (300-600 yards). The downward facing hold lines are calibrated for a target approximately 46 cm (18") wide at 300-600 yard distances. This makes distance estimation and rapid shooting effortless.

Versatility: While the reticle contains built-in ballistic compensation for common calibers (such as 5.56 NATO, .308 Win, 6.5 Grendel), its MIL-based structure makes it compatible with any firearm and caliber.
