Sharpening Instructions:• First, grind both sides of the blade with a coarse sharpening stone in the direction of the blade until the edge forms a "twist".• Grind the twist away using the smoother side of the sharpening stone.• Use water during the sharpening process.• Clean and dry the blade.• Regularly sharpen the knife to avoid demanding re-sharpening sessions. Sheath Care:• Treat the knife sheath with leather care product as needed. Knife Care:• Do not wash the high carbon steel knife in a dishwasher.• Always dry and clean the blade after use.• Keep the knife in its sheath and store it in a dry place.• Occasionally treat the high carbon steel with cooking oil or mineral oil.
