Carbine Skills 2 - Course March 15, 2026

Carbine Skills Level 2 is an advanced course following the highly popular Carbine Skills Level 1 course. It is perfect for shooting enthusiasts, reservists, and anyone who may encounter various types of submachine guns and/or carbines in their work or leisure (police officers, military personnel, private security, emergency responders, self-defense practitioners, etc.). In the Carbine Skills Level 2 training, participants will deepen their ability to handle and shoot effectively with different submachine guns and carbines in dynamic situations.

Course Details:

Duration: 8 hours
Date: 15.03.2025 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. There will be a one-hour lunch break during the day.
Location: Jyväskylä, Aawee Training Centre, Varikkotie 160, Vaajakoski.


Content:
The training will enhance participants' ability to handle and shoot effectively with various types of carbines and submachine guns in dynamic situations. During the training, participants will have the opportunity to shoot with numerous different submachine guns and carbines (MP5, AR, Suomi-KP, m44, etc.). After the training, you will master the use of different types of carbines comprehensively in various situations.

The course fee includes training, the use of firearms, range fees, targets, and a course certificate.

Equipment needed for the course: approximately 400 pieces of 9x19mm cartridges (cartridges can be purchased on-site if necessary. Only factory-made cartridges will be used in the course). In the basic section, 300 shots will be fired with the option to shoot in bursts as desired.

Requirements to participate in the course:
- Safe firearm handling skills
- Completion of Carbine Skills Level 1 or a similar course such as Functional Mini Rifle/PCC Level 1, or equivalent qualifications
- Clean background check

Cancellations can be made without charge if done at least 1 month before the event or training begins. We will charge the full participation fee for no-shows without prior notice. The course may also be canceled due to insufficient participant numbers, which will be communicated separately. The event organizer reserves the right to cancel the event and refund course fees to participants.
