Benelli 828U Silver COMPACT SWIFT (345) Magnum interchoke barrel.
The standard delivery includes 5 internal interchangeable choke tubes.
The 828U Silver model features a bright, engraved receiver, designed with ergonomics in mind.
The firearm has 3 oil-finished walnut stocks of Super class.
The barrels are cryogenically treated Crio barrels and are hard chrome plated.
The firearm is delivered in a plastic hard case.
Warranty upon registration is 10 years (excludes wooden parts).
Several significant and excellent features are present in this firearm:
Comb pad and butt plate options: The polyurethane comb pad and butt plate are interchangeable.
In this shortest Compact Swift version, the pull length is 345mm.
An extended (+1cm) butt plate is available as an accessory, allowing for a pull length of 355mm.
Progressive Comfort Stock: The Progressive Comfort system in the Benelli 828U stock reduces felt recoil, barrel rise, and makes re-aiming easier.
The Progressive Comfort system is patented by Benelli.
Stock adjustment in the Benelli 828U allows for adjustment of drop and cast off.
Factory settings for drop and cast are: drop 55mm and cast 6mm right.
Other drop options: 42.5 / 45 / 47.5 / 50 / 52.5 / 57.5 / 60 / 62.5 / 65mm. Other cast options: 6mm left / 3mm left / 3mm right.
There are a total of 40 adjustment options.
All adjustment parts are included in the standard delivery of the firearm.
Safety and barrel selector: The firearm's safety is located on the frame. The safety can be manual or automatic, depending on choice.
The firearm is delivered with the manual safety.
The automatic safety can be obtained by adding a spring (included in delivery) to the trigger mechanism, and this can be done at a retail shop.
Trigger mechanism: The firearm features a detachable trigger mechanism. Detaching is done with the provided tool.
Ejectors: The firearm has impulse-activated ejectors.
Thanks to impulse-activated ejectors, there is no mechanical connection between the trigger mechanism and the forend.
Lock Plate: Benelli’s patented locking system.
Simple yet clever design ensures strong, reliable locking that eliminates stress from the receiver.
Benelli’s O&U locking mechanism is especially durable.
Cryogenically treated barrels: The firearm features selected Power Bore barrels with a maximum internal diameter of 18.5mm.
The barrels have internal cryogenically treated chokes, and the standard delivery includes five internal choke tubes.
The chokes are: M / IC / C (steel shot ok) F / IM (NO steel shot).
Carbon fiber rib: The firearm has a 7mm wide interchangeable carbon fiber rib (other options are not yet available). The front bead is a small red fiber bead.
