Overpenetration issue RESOLVED (Higher shoulders prevent the basepad from sliding "too far in" and interfering with the slide.
On the Mete and Rival, standard basepads tend to over-penetrate. Occasionally, the magazine can get trapped "too far in" and block the slide.)
Flattened back allows for rapid off-the-table reloads.
Maximum length 140mm = +4+ capacity (optimized for USPSA gauge compliance)
New traction cuts on the sides align with the slide cuts on the Rival
Compatible with both TF *AND* Canik magazine wells.
IMPORTANT: These are designed for competitive use, and they REQUIRE the wide-open magazine well found on the 2021-2023 Mete, Rival, and Rival-S! They will NOT function with earlier or later Canik models!
IMPORTANT: Verify your serial number! This basepad is compatible with most full-size Mete and Rival pistols with serial numbers starting with 21, 22, or 23.
Canik modified the magazine well design in 2023, meaning some 23-series and all 24-series (and beyond) firearms require the "Signature" or original models instead.
(Otherwise, the magazine will not lock into position smoothly.)
