Silent Steel Micro Streamer 5.56/7.62/9mm FDE QD Suppressor
A next-generation, steel, through-flow suppressor designed for rifles. Manufactured and engineered in Finland for heavy-duty use!
Suppressors will be updated to Generation 3 starting in 2024. From June 18, 2024, all newly orderable 5.56 suppressors will be of the new generation. Other calibers will follow later. The new version features improved flash and sound suppression. The previous GEN2 Micro and Compact suppressors had excessive flash, especially with short barrels and certain ammunition types. The new GEN3 suppressors provide excellent flash suppression, with the Micro model eliminating flash from a 10" barrel. Additionally, sound suppression has reached new levels. Compact and Streamer suppressors in 5.56 caliber keep sound below 137dB when measured next to the shooter's ear, ensuring a safe level for hearing. The internals of the new generation suppressor have been modified, identifiable by the cone visible in the bullet hole and the GEN3 marking on the end.
The Micro Streamer is the shortest suppressor in the Silent Steel lineup. Suppression power: 10-15dB. Designed for users wishing to achieve the lightest and shortest rifle setup. The Micro Streamer provides a brake-like feel to the rifle while offering enough suppression to make shooting indoors significantly more pleasant. Sound and pressure are directed forward, reducing the blast and pressure experienced by the shooter and bystanders.
The through-flow design does not significantly increase the amount of returning gas into the rifle, thus there is no need to change the gas adjustments. The steel-bodied suppressor is designed for functional shooting and is highly resistant to heat.
The suppressor with QD (Quick Detachable) feature attaches to Silent Steel's own brake/flame suppressor. Both the suppressor and the muzzle brake have M27x1.5 threads, allowing for easy attachment and removal of the suppressor from the rifle. The construction ensures that pressure during firing tightens the suppressor in place, eliminating the need for additional serration. The brake design and heat-resistant O-ring seal the suppressor and prevent burnt residue from entering the threads.
Thanks to the attachment structure, the suppressor always mounts in the same position, resulting in minimal changes in point of impact. The symmetrical internal structure ensures that the effect on the bullet is the same from all sides, keeping the trajectory consistent. On average, shooting with this suppressor alters the point of impact by 1-4cm straight down at a distance of 100m.
