Silent Steel Compact Streamer 5.56/7.62/9mm FDE QD Suppressor

Suppressors will be upgraded to Generation 3 in 2024. Starting June 18, 2024, all new orders for 5.56 suppressors will be of the new generation. Other calibers will follow later. The new version features improved flash and sound suppression. The previous GEN2 Micro and Compact suppressors had an excessive flash, especially with short barrels and specific ammunition. The new GEN3 series suppressors have excellent flash suppression, even the Micro effectively eliminates flash from a 10" barrel. Sound suppression has also reached a new level. Using Compact and Streamer size suppressors in 5.56 caliber keeps the sound below 137dB measured next to the shooter’s ear, which is safe for hearing. The interior of the new generation suppressor has undergone changes, identifiable by the conical shape visible in the bullet hole and marked with the GEN3 designation on the end.
The Compact Streamer is Silent Steel's medium-sized suppressor. Suppression power: 15-32dB. The suppressor is modular for maintenance. The inline model is recommended for gas-operated self-loading rifles. A baffle replacement kit is also available, specifically designed for bolt-action rifles. The suppressor caliber can also be changed by swapping the interior. Compact Streamer series suppressors effectively eliminate all visible flash from the muzzle and significantly reduce sound.
The inline design does not significantly increase the amount of returning gas to the rifle. Thus, there is no need to change gas settings. The steel-bodied suppressor is designed for functional shooting and handles heat well.
The QD (Quick Detachable) suppressor attaches to Silent Steel's own muzzle brake/silencer. The suppressor and the barrel's muzzle brake feature M27x1.5 threads, allowing for easy attachment and removal of the suppressor from the rifle. The structure is designed so that pressure generated during firing tightens the suppressor into place, ensuring it stays secure without requiring separate locking. The design of the muzzle brake's end and the heat-resistant O-ring properly seals the suppressor and prevents combustion residues from entering the threads.
Thanks to the mounting structure, the suppressor always attaches to the same position, resulting in minimal alterations to the point of impact. The symmetrical internal structure ensures the effect on the bullet is the same from all sides, thereby maintaining a consistent trajectory. On average, using this suppressor changes the point of impact by 1-4cm straight down at 100m distance.
