The KynSHOT Spacer Weight
The KynSHOT Spacer Weight was developed in collaboration with Blitzkrieg Components and is compatible with our PCC hydraulic buffers as well as our AR hydraulic buffers to add mass in front of the buffer.
This Spacer Weight also increases the length of the buffer system by 0.75" and adds 2.5 ounces of weight, specifically designed for a snug fit in the buffer tube while preventing buffer tilting during cycling.
To utilize this weight and enable your bolt to cycle the full distance, stopping behind the bolt catch, you will need to employ an AR-10/A5 length buffer tube since it is 0.75" longer on the inside.
If you integrate this weight with our PCC buffers for a short stroke system that ceases before the bolt catch, a standard AR-15 buffer tube is required.
Additional mass is crucial in any PCC short stroke setup since the bolt has less time to decelerate.
The optimal configuration for most 8-16" barreled firearms is to pair this PCC Buffer weight with an RB5015HD buffer and a .308 carbine buffer spring inside an AR10/A5 buffer tube for complete bolt stroke.
If your bolt features a weight pinned at the rear, we recommend keeping it to maintain the total mass of your bolt.
