Sling Mount Kit, TYPE 2. This Type 2 Kit adds an additional QD attachment point to Magpul stocks.
Although both Gen 1 UBR and STR come with TYPE 1 buttons for QD sling mounts pre-installed on the left side of the stock, this Sling Mount Kit – TYPE 2 can be installed on the opposite side.
Compatible with standard QD sling swivels or Magpul QDM.
TYPE 2 series is used in conjunction with the optional TYPE 1 series, allowing for ambidextrous QD sling mounting such as on SGA®, MOE® Rifle, MOE® Fixed Carbine, MOE® AK, Zhukov-S, Hunter 700, and Hunter X-22 stocks.
Durable black phosphate steel construction is easy to install using the original screw of the UBR or the attachment points provided with the TYPE 1 series. QD swivels are not included.
