Magpul PMAG .223rem 30rd Gen3 Window AR-15 Magazine

The next-generation PMAG 30 GEN M3 Window is a 30-round polymer magazine for 5.56x45 NATO (.223 Remington) firearms compatible with AR15/M4, featuring transparent windows for quick visual assessment of remaining rounds. In addition to an expanded feature set and compatibility, the GEN M3 Window incorporates new material technology and manufacturing processes that enhance strength, durability, and reliability, exceeding strict military performance requirements.

While the GEN M3 is optimized for Colt-spec AR15/M4 platforms, modified internal and external geometries also allow use with various other firearms, such as HK® 416/MR556A1/M27 IAR, British SA-80, FN® SCAR MK. 16/16S, and more.
Similar to the MOE® PMAG, the GEN M3 Window features a durable USGI-spec stainless steel spring, a four-way anti-tilt follower, and standard curve internal geometry for reliable feeding, along with a simple disassembly for easy cleaning without tools.

Additionally, the redesigned bolt lock notch at the rear of the magazine increases bolt catch clearance, while the rear over-travel stop helps ensure the magazine does not protrude excessively in compatible firearms. Low-profile ribs and a new aggressive front and rear design provide positive control of the GEN M3 in all environments, and the lower panel of the body includes a paint pen dot matrix for easy user identification marking.

The new, easily removable flared floor plate simplifies magazine removal and handling while providing better drop protection, yet it is slightly thinner than before to better fit tight double and triple magazine pouches. The included removable impact/dust cover can be optionally used to minimize debris ingress and protect the upper magazine during storage and transport.

Durable dual-sided transparent windows allow for rapid assessment of rounds remaining in the magazine. The MagLevel® system utilizes a visible indicator coil in the spring and numerical markings on the magazine body, ensuring positive assurance without compromising magazine durability or reliability.
