The next generation PMAG 30 AR/M4 GEN M3 is a 30-round polymer magazine for AR15/M4 compatible firearms, caliber 5.56 x 45 NATO / .223 Remington. In addition to an expanded feature set and compatibility, the GEN M3 incorporates new material technologies and manufacturing processes that enhance strength, durability, and reliability, exceeding strict military performance requirements.

While the GEN M3 is optimized for Colt-spec AR15/M4 platforms, its modified internal and external geometry allows for use with several additional firearms such as the HK® 416/MR556A1/M27 IAR, British SA-80, FN® SCAR & TRADE; MK 16/16S, and more.

Like the MOE® PMAG, the GEN M3 includes a long-lasting USGI-spec stainless steel spring for consistency, a four-way anti-tilt follower, a standard-curved internal geometry for reliable feeding, and simple tool-less disassembly for easy cleaning.

The PMAG 30 GEN M3 also features a redesigned bolt catch notch at the back of the magazine, which increases bolt catch clearance, while the rear over-travel stop helps ensure that the magazine does not over-insert into compatible firearms. Low-profile ribs and a new aggressive front and rear texture give the GEN M3 confident control in all environments, and a paint pen dot matrix is integrated into the lower panel of the body for easy marking identification. A new, easily removable flared floor plate facilitates magazine removal and handling while providing better drop protection, yet it is slightly thinner than before to better fit snug double and triple magazine pouches.
