Geissele Super 42 spring is designed to enhance the function and reliability of your AR-15 rifle. Its unique spring construction utilizes three separate wires, similar to the German MG42 Machine Gun. This concept acts as a harmonic damper and energy absorber allowing the springs to flex independently from each other. This spring helps to dissipate excess energy, reducing the chance of spring breakage and enhancing the overall reliability of the AR-15.

Compared to standard springs, the Geissele Super 42 spring has a lesser tendency to lose length and strength over a given round count. As an additional bonus, it negates the annoying spring noises that can be felt and heard through the buttstock. The Super 42 spring has a 15% stronger average return force compared to a regular spring. This helps cycle reliably with dirty firearms and when using steel-cased ammunition.
