Faxon's Gunner profile combines the durability of the Government profile with the weight savings and maneuverability of the Pencil profile. It shifts the rifle's balance towards the shooter's body, reducing fatigue and enabling extended shooting, training, or hunting sessions.

Manufactured in-house from gun-barrel quality bar stock, the Match Series begins with 416-R in 5R rifling. 5R features lands opposed to grooves and fewer sharp angles, minimizing jacket deformation, increasing velocity, and simplifying cleaning. Our Match Series is chambered in .223 Wylde, a versatile chamber that fully utilizes the benefits of 5R rifling. Enhanced accuracy comes from reduced bullet jump, and each barrel undergoes individual MPI testing for your safety. After extensive testing, the barrels are Nitride treated inside and out, securing the bore, improving barrel life, and offering protection against the elements.

The extension is coated with Nickel Teflon, delivering excellent dry lubricity, corrosion resistance, and improving the fit between the extension and receiver, further enhancing accuracy. Together, the Match Series barrels are ready to perform when duty calls or the buzzer sounds, combining unrivaled performance and value.
