KynSHOT RB5004 "Shorty"
The KynSHOT RB5004 Recoil Buffer is a hydraulic buffer system engineered to fit any AR-10 utilizing a Mil-Spec style carbine buffer tube (internal depth 7").
The RB5004 is also compatible with PDW style buffer tubes that accommodate a 2.5” standard buffer, making it universal for most calibers.
This buffer can be paired with any AR-10 buffer spring and serves as a straightforward drop-in replacement for all buffer systems currently available in the market.
Our buffer features patented technology that absorbs the recoil impulse generated by the bolt carrier's rearward movement, preventing bolt bounce while a new round is chambered.

Designed for 7.62mm/.308 caliber AR style rifles with an M4 length buffer tube (which measures 7" deep, and is ¼" shorter than an Armalite AR-10 collapsible stock tube). This is a common factory stock configuration seen in many factory .308 rifles, including DPMS, CMMG, and more. The best reference is its compatibility with factory buffers measuring 2.5" in length.
