🔶 Press Release 23.10.2025: Aawee Oy acquires the entire business of Jahtiaitta from Ase- ja Optiikkahuolto H. Korhonen Oy and expands to Kajaani.
Aawee Oy and Ase- ja Optiikkahuolto H. Korhonen Oy have agreed on a business acquisition where Aawee Oy expands to Kajaani by purchasing the entire business of Jahtiaitta.
The operations of the Kajaani store under Aawee Oy will begin on 01.01.2026. In Kajaani, there will be a warehouse clearance and removal of certain product brands until the end of the year.
Jahtiaitta and its skilled personnel will be completely integrated under Aawee's operations. Jahtiaitta's entrepreneur, Hannu, will continue to support Aawee throughout 2026.
With the Kajaani personnel, Aawee gains access to highly skilled in-house gunsmith services. The intention is to further expand these operations after 2026.
The acquisition of Jahtiaitta significantly strengthens Aawee's hunting sector. Correspondingly, Aawee's offering for practical and sports shooting will be brought very strongly to Kajaani and the Kainuu market.
Product availability will improve in all locations. Although store-specific selections vary, the entire product range is available for order. Orders can be picked up from any Aawee store or ordered with home delivery through various logistics companies.
Jahtiaitta's entrepreneur Hannu Korhonen:

The online store has been renewed! The product tree has received significant improvements, so product navigation will be clearer and faster in the future.
Online store ordering has been renewed speeding order deliveries and significantly clarifies logistics. Most of the packages can be packed with the update already during the same day.
The availability of all stores is visible online. In the future, store balances will be even more reliable and up-to-date. You can order individual products in the stores as pickup from that warehouse or

🔶 Announcement 30.09.2021: Aawee Oy has bought the entire stock of ARMORIA Oy.
ARMORIA Oy's operations in Jyväskylä and Tampere continue. Aawee Oy's operations in Jämsä continue. We strive to develop all shops according to our expertise and the wishes of our customers.
In the future, ARMORIA will be gradually integrated into Aawee's operations.
In Jämsä, Jyväskylä and Tampere you will find Aawee and ARMORIA staff and a wide selection of shooting & range products and services.
In Jyväskylä, you can also find the ATC / ARMORIA Training Center shooting range with various course variations. In Jämsa you can still find a comprehensive fishing side! We bring new products and services to every location.
NOTE! ARMORIA Kuopio is its own independent company, which was therefore not part of the deal. ARMORIA Kuopio will change its name and continue to operate independently.
We thank the old owners of ARMORIA for their cooperation and welcome both new and old customers to Jämsä, Jyväskylä and Tampere.
The owners of Aawee Oy (Former name: AV-ase ja ärä Oy) have remained the same for a long time! All stores and both online stores open as usual 😊
