Silvan Compass 3E is designed to withstand even the most challenging conditions. The compass features a liquid-filled housing, with red/black N/S lines and markings for declination adjustment. The high-quality steel needle is sapphire-bearing, and the self-luminous markings facilitate navigation in low-light conditions, while the magnifying glass aids in precise map reading.
The compass displays scales in mils and degrees (6400/360), four Romer scales for accurate positioning, and a lanyard for measuring distances using the indicated scales.
The compass plate is made from durable acrylic, and the silicone feet on the bottom help keep it steady while reading a map. An aluminum frame protects the compass housing.
