Sharpening Instructions: • First, grind both sides of the blade with a coarse stone in a sideways motion until the blade edge develops a "twist". • Grind away the twist using the smoother side of the stone. • Use water during the grinding process. • Clean and dry the blade. • Regularly sharpen the knife to avoid needing extensive sharpening later. Sheath Care: • Treat the knife sheath with leather conditioner when necessary. Knife Care: • Do not wash the carbon steel knife in a dishwasher. • Always dry and clean the blade after use. • Keep the knife in its sheath and store it in a dry place. • Occasionally treat the carbon steel with cooking oil or paraffin oil.
