Sharpening Instructions:• First, grind both sides of the blade with a coarse sharpening stone in a horizontal direction until a 'twist' forms on the edge of the blade.• Remove the twist using the smoother side of the sharpening stone.• Use water while sharpening.• Clean and dry the blade thoroughly.• Regularly sharpen the knife to avoid intensive re-sharpening requirements. Sheath Care:• Treat the knife sheath with leather conditioner as needed. Knife Maintenance:• Do not wash the carbon steel knife in a dishwasher.• Always dry and clean the blade after use.• Keep the knife in its sheath and store it in a dry place.• Occasionally treat the carbon steel with food-grade oil or paraffin oil.
