Sharpening Instructions:• First, grind both sides of the blade using a coarse sharpening stone, moving in the direction of the edge until a "twist" forms at the blade's edge.• Remove the twist using the smoother side of the sharpening stone.• Use water while sharpening.• Clean and dry the blade.• Regularly sharpen the knife to avoid extensive sharpening later on. Sheath Care:• Treat the knife sheath with a leather conditioner when necessary. Knife Care:• Do not wash the carbon steel knife in a dishwasher.• Always dry and clean the blade after use.• Store the knife in the sheath, and keep it in a dry place.• Occasionally treat the carbon steel with food oil or paraffin oil.
