Sharpening Instructions: • First, grind both sides of the blade with a coarse sharpening stone in line with the edge until a "twist" forms at the blade's edge. • Remove the twist with the smoother side of the sharpening stone. • Use water during sharpening. • Clean and dry the blade. • Regularly sharpen the knife to avoid requiring intensive one-time sharpening. Handle Care: • Treat the knife sheath if necessary with a leather conditioner. Knife Care: • Do not wash the carbon steel knife in a dishwasher. • Always dry and clean the blade after use. • Keep the knife in its sheath, and store it in a dry place. • Occasionally treat the carbon steel with cooking oil or paraffin oil.
