The Direct Action® Dragon Egg® is a 25-liter capacity backpack designed for short patrol duties or everyday carry (EDC). It features two hydration bladder pockets within the main compartment, along with an additional pocket in the zipped back section. The rear pocket, equipped with a padded sleeve, safely accommodates multiband radio devices or a 15-inch laptop. The front pocket includes a zipped mesh pocket and a simple organizer for small essentials. The side pockets are ideal for small, flat items, and can fit a standard U.S. canteen when unzipped. The laser-cut MOLLE/PALS compatible system allows for full modularity while maintaining a sleek profile. The egg shape of the pack results in reduced height and width compared to similar capacity packs, enhancing comfort when worn with belts or ballistic vests. The suspension system includes comfortable shoulder straps and an internal stiffener in the back. Constructed from durable 500D Cordura® nylon fabric with a water-resistant coating, this pack incorporates the Combat Vent System® (CVS®) to provide exceptional ventilation and comfort. The CVS® utilizes contoured foam profiles with multiple air channels combined with breathable mesh to keep the pack off the back, enhancing air circulation and preventing heat build-up and sweating, while the stiff foam ensures both comfort and stability.
