The Sako Powerhead Blade has developed a new monolithic copper bullet, designed specifically for long-distance hunting. The Blade Pro is optimized for situations where performance is critical at longer and more demanding distances.
Just like the Sako Blade, the Blade Pro is equipped with a terminal ballistic Blade tip. Due to its construction, the Blade Pro offers top-tier penetration capability and rapid expansion, ensuring reliable stopping power even at lower velocities when shooting game from longer ranges. The efficient performance level is designed to be effective for both soft tissue and bone impacts.
In the Blade Pro, the Ballistic Coefficient (BC) is superior to that of the Blade. A better ballistic coefficient translates to improved impact energy, more moderate wind drift, and a smoother flight path, all contributing to better accuracy at longer distances.
Sako Blade vs Sako Blade Pro
The optimal performance range of the Sako Blade is around 100 meters, whereas the Blade Pro offers optimal performance up to approximately 300 meters. Therefore, the Blade Pro does not replace the Blade but serves as a new option within the range of monolithic bullets and cartridges, as well as a solution for long-distance hunting.
