Sako Powerhead Blade is a new Finnish-made rifle cartridge equipped with a 100-percent copper bullet.
The secret of the Blade lies in its precisely machined bullet, featuring a green polymer tip designed to enhance expansion.
The Blade tip improves bullet expansion even at slower velocities (long shooting distances and smaller game).
At the same time, it operates reliably in quick situations and at short distances, such as domestic moose hunting.
In terms of bullets, Sako's cartridge factory has made significant investments in new production equipment.
This new domestic bullet offers familiar Sako quality and unprecedented accuracy.
Sako Blade marks the beginning of a new era for Sako cartridges, and more will surely be heard about it in the near future.
The cartridge's copper bullet does not fragment upon impact like traditional lead-cored semi-jacketed bullets, but retains almost 100% weight retention in game shots.
