Like the Sako Blade, the Blade Pro is equipped with a terminal ballistic Blade tip. Thanks to its construction, the Blade Pro delivers top-notch penetration capability and rapid expansion, ensuring reliable stopping power even at lower velocities from longer-range game shots. The effective performance level is designed to operate in both soft tissue and bone impacts.
The ballistic coefficient (BC) of the Blade Pro is superior to that of the Blade. A better ballistic coefficient translates to improved impact energy, reduced wind drift, and a more stable trajectory, resulting in overall better accuracy at extended distances.
Sako Blade vs Sako Blade Pro
The optimal impact range for the Sako Blade is around 100 meters, while the optimal impact range for the Blade Pro is approximately 300 meters. Therefore, the Blade Pro is not a replacement for the Blade but a new addition to the selection of monolithic bullets and cartridges, providing an option for hunting over longer distances.
