The Sako Powerhead Blade is a newly developed monolithic copper projectile cartridge designed specifically for long-range hunting. The Blade Pro is optimized for situations where performance is necessary at greater and more challenging distances.
Like the Sako Blade, the Blade Pro features a terminal ballistic Blade tip. Its construction provides exceptional penetration capabilities and rapid expansion, ensuring reliable stopping power even at lower velocities for game shots taken from long distances. The effective performance level is designed to work effectively on both soft tissue and bone impacts.
The Blade Pro has a ballistic coefficient (BC) that is superior to that of the Blade. A higher ballistic coefficient means improved striking energy, reduced wind drift, and a more stable trajectory, resulting in overall better accuracy at longer ranges.
Sako Blade vs Sako Blade Pro
The optimal impact distance for the Sako Blade is around 100m, whereas the optimal impact distance for the Blade Pro is approximately 300m. Therefore, the Blade Pro is not a replacement for the Blade but a new product in the range of monolithic bullets and cartridges, offering an option for longer-range hunting.
