Like the Sako Blade, the Blade Pro is also equipped with the terminal ballistic Blade tip. Due to its construction, the Blade Pro provides top-tier penetration capability and rapid expansion, ensuring reliable stopping power even at lower velocities when taking shots at game from extended distances. The effective performance level is designed to function in both soft tissue and bone impacts.
In the Blade Pro, the ballistic coefficient (BC) is superior to that of the Blade. A better ballistic coefficient translates to greater impact energy, moderate wind drift, and a more stable flight path, resulting in overall better accuracy at longer ranges.
Sako Blade vs Sako Blade Pro
The optimal impact range for the Sako Blade is approximately around 100 meters, while the optimal impact range for the Blade Pro is around 300 meters. Therefore, the Blade Pro is not a replacement for the Blade, but rather a new product in the range of monolithic bullets and cartridges, providing an alternative for hunting at longer distances.
